ECLD Welcomes 3 new members to the Team

             Early this spring ECLD has added 3 exceptional longdrivers to the team. John Kelly, Brian Bent, and Paul Winterling will be representing the east coast this long drive season. John Kelly is a former long driver from Pennsylvania who took a small hiatus right after his 1999-2003 run. John brings experience as well as new ideas with future competitions based in the northern mid-atlantic reigon. Brian Bent had a break out rookie season last year hitting a 391Yd bomb at Arundel Golf park giving him the bye into Region 1 District Championships. Brian Bent is a former Pro-baseball player (Catcher) with the Baltimore Orioles from Ellicott City, MD. His experience at bat in front of tens of thousands of fans will help him excel in further long drive events. Paul Winterling is another long driver who had a great year his first time competing. Paul made it to the 6th round of the Region 1 District Championships and has hit drives well over 400 yards. Paul Winterling is also with the Baltimore Orioles (Outfielder) who has accomplished a lot on the baseball field. John Kelly, Brian Bent, and Paul Winterling are ready to bring their A-game in what should be an exciting year for East Coast Long Drive.

             THUNDERBALL! is a specialized Long-Drive tournament format where competitors face-off ‘gladiator style’ on a rock & roll stage at night, under lights, with a live audience, cheerleaders & pyrotechnics!

            Unlike traditional tournament qualifying where you only get one chance to make it, our indoor program allows you to try AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE from March 1st to May 30th!
If you’re one of the top 50 longest hitters on our leaderboard – congrats! you’re invited to the big show in Vegas August 18-21! If you finish 1st or 2nd at your site (and are not in the top 50 on our leaderboard), then pack your bags as well and we’ll see you in Sin City!*
